French Prim's Frozen Hormone-Free Whole Quail Breasts: Thaw the frozen quail breasts. For a quicker preparation, marinate them in ginger, light soy sauce, and pepper for 10 minutes. Air-fry them at 180°C for 6 minutes (breast side down). Turn them over and grill for 5-6 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions.
If you want to pan-fry the quail breast, use butter or olive oil to pan-fry until both sides are golden brown. Add onions and bell peppers and sauté until fragrant. Drizzle with a little cooking wine and bake in a 190°C oven for 8-10 minutes.
Making soup is even simpler. After thawing, put it into a casserole together with yam, codonopsis or shiitake mushrooms, and ginger slices. Add water, bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat for 40-50 minutes. Add salt to taste and you have a delicious Chinese soup.
Quail breast meat is tender, low in fat, easy to digest and absorb, and can supplement high-quality protein to help maintain muscle and body functions;
It is mild in nature and sweet in taste. It can strengthen the spleen and replenish qi, nourish the lungs and moisten dryness. It is very friendly to people with weak digestion, easy fatigue or dry throat in dry seasons. It can be paired with yam and codonopsis to make soup or simply fried or grilled. It is a nourishing and affordable way to eat it.
